The weather is cooler, making it comfortable for exploring the outdoors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">December &#8211; March:\u00a0 Activities like cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are popular. Meadow Run Trail is considered a moderate trail on <a href=\"https:\/\/alltrails.pxf.io\/rQNOED\">AllTrails<\/a>.&nbsp; This trail is definitely a must do hike when visiting Ohiopyle.&nbsp; It has views of two waterfalls as well as a natural water slide along the trail.&nbsp; You will be able to see the waterfalls from the trail, but if you want to get to the base of the falls you will need to use caution maneuvering down a steep unofficial trail.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Ferncliff Trail<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">This 1.8 mile trail on the Ferncliff Peninsula has about 137 feet of elevation gain.&nbsp;
